Negril Village- Atlanta

On Sunday May, 2016, I had the opportunity to try out a Brunch Spot in Atlanta called ” Negril Village”. I have always heard lots of great things about this restaurant ,so I was very excited to experience their brunch! Check out my review below.

I drove about 25 minutes to the location downtown, and meet a few friends after church. Their parking lot is very small , so I parked in the Emory Hospital lot and paid $5 around the corner. I knew the wait time would be long, but we waited longer than I would have liked. We waited for an hour and 30 minutes to be called. Although I really don’t like waiting that long, I must say ultimately it was worth it.

Upon entry of the building, there is a live band and singer performing. So the vibe was very nice. There is an up and downstairs. We decided to do the brunch buffet upstairs that had a live DJ and the buffet was $28-30 a person and unlimited mimosas for about $10-15 a person. Our Server was very friendly and accommodating, so I was happy about that. Since it was a buffet they had Jerk Chicken, Waffles, Mac & Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Chicken Sausage, Wheat Toast, Shrimp & Island Grits, Sweet Plantain, Grilled Vegetables, Rice & Peas, Fried Dumplings and so much more. Honestly although we waited for a while to be seated, the food was worth every bite. I would definitely go back again and choose the brunch buffet for more options.
