NEW YEAR… NEW ME?? Welcome to 2016

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Congratulations to making it to 2016!! You have made it to Day 8 out of the 365 days of the year! I know you have been wondering… Where in the world is Madam Koverage? Is Madam Koverage over? Well of course not.. She has been working hard on a plethora of other things, but trust she has a lot in store for you for 2016!  So Welcome Back, and to my new readers,

Welcome to Your Full Koverage on Life!

So how has the New Year been going for you? I personally have loved the New Year thus far. I was fortunate enough to start the year in another country, my homeland Nigeria, so that was pretty awesome. Before 2015 ended, I sat down and reviewed the whole year (JAN-DEC) and made of list of some positive and negative things that happened each month. On this list I also jotted down what I was able to accomplish, and what I still needed to work on. With that, I was able to make a brand new list of things I wanted to continue to do, leave behind, and also accomplish for 2016. Some may call it a New Years Resolution list, I just call it ” Continuing to make a better me”.

Now which person are you?  Do you have your vision board ready to go, a journal for the next few weeks to jot down your personal growth and changes that occur in your life. Or you are the complete opposite. Its a New Year… so what ? If I did not start making those changes already then nothing will change. Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion so feel free to agree to disagree. I feel that entering a New Year gives you a fresh start and a new perspective on life. Now I will say lets make attainable goals and resolutions for ourselves. So by the last week of  January we haven’t already found an excuse on why we can’t go to the gym, but find a hot new place to eat in town.

If you have been longing to travel.. DO IT! Don’t let money stop you! There are so many deals and promotions going on, that allow you to travel at an affordable rate. If you are trying to save money, set a budget for yourself. Know how much you are spending weekly and monthly. I know it helps me sometimes to withdraw a certain amount of cash to use for the week. This limits excessive and unnecessary spending. Make this your year to multiple your finances. You want to be so financially secure, you are not sitting waiting for your next paycheck.  Whatever the case may be, if you don’t like something, stop complaining and BE YOUR CHANGE. Stop waiting for someone to rescue you. Always strive to do better than you did the day before, or the week before, or even a month before. Life is a struggle but we all can make it with hard work and dedication. So I ask you what changes would you like to see made in your life? Make weekly goals for yourself and trust me, it will take you a long day.

This is YOUR YEAR to fulfill your purpose and be great ! Don’t worry about what the next person is doing. Stay focused on your journey, and trust me, it will all come together when the time is right!

Thank You again for being patient with Madam Koverage & my prayer is that your year is filled with blessings upon blessings upon blessings!!

Thanks for Reading!
