On May 13, 2015 , Kevin Bruce, a rising senior at Kennesaw State University, posted a video to Twitter Wednesday night with the message: “Rude advisers at Kennesaw. ..(Shaking my head).” The video shows adviser Abby Dawson approaching him and telling him that waiting in the lobby to see an adviser is harassment and should leave before she calls campus security.
Bruce who is a Exercise & Health Science major, stopped by the WellStar College of Health and Human Services office to see an adviser to get questions answered about his classes. But knowing how Abby Dawson has treated him in the past, Bruce decided to record the incident for proof, just in case no one believed him.
After the video was posted it went viral, and the hash tag #ITSBIGGERTHANKSU was created to make people aware of the situation.
